Voodou salon in Liverpool recently played host to a charitable teenager who had 20'" of her hair cut off to help those living with cancer.

Sixteeen-year-old Chantelle Day won a free cut and finish through a local radio competition and decided to put the prize to good use by donating her hair to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Chantelle had 20" of her hair cut off by senior stylist Jamie Stafford, transforming her waist-length locks into a stylish bob with sweeping fringe.

As well as donating her hair, Chantelle also raised money for Marie Curie Cancer Care through sponsorship from family and friends.

Chantelle dedicated her charitable decision to her class mate, Abbie Booth, who is currently in remission from leukaemia.

Voodou were thrilled that Chantelle loved her new look and managing director, Rob Webb, added £100 to her sponsorship on behalf of the company.
