Sanrizz network launches nationwide Sanrizz Network Launches Nationwide The Sanrizz Network launched in September 2011, offering salon owners the opportunity to benefit from the Sanrizz group's extensive experience and in-depth industry knowledge. Having been piloted locally for the last two years, the company is now launching nationwide offering an alternative to franchising for for any salon in the UK. We caught up with Tony Rizzo, founder of the group, to find out more. What is the Sanrizz Network? The Sanrizz Network offers salons outside the Sanrizz group the chance to enrich their own brand by having access to our education resources, marketing materials, operational material - such as our salon handbook and HR literature - plus access to retailing and finance support. It offers members all the benefits of being part of a group, while keeping their own brand. Who do you think the network will appeal to? It's primarily aimed at single salons or small groups that want to develop their business by creating the feel of a London salon locally. The main benefit is that they can concentrate on building their own brand while we look after everything else for them. Why is Sanrizz the right partner for this kind of venture? Sanrizz has more than 30 years' experience of running salons in London. Operating a salon in London is difficult as there are so many obstacles to overcome, including transient clients and staff. However, we have overcome them all and can pass this knowledge on to others. Members will benefit from a vast array of proven business practices and from a worldwide reputation. What is the commitment for the members? They have to sign a one-year contract and there is an annual fee based on the number of staff employed by the member, ranging from £2,000 to £3,000 per year. How involved in the project are you? This is my baby - I will lead the whole project. I set up similar networks in the 1990s in Italy and Japan before I decided to focus on the UK. What for you is the most important element of the scheme? It has to be the access to education and our training academy. This alone justifies the annual fee. They will be able to send team members on courses for every level, including team leaders, stylists/technicians and assistants. Also, the fact that they can use pictures from our award-winning collections to market their own brand is a massive advantage.
