Mazella and Palmer recently gave Greek stylists a taste of London style as they presented their Cool Britannia collection in Athens.
Cool Britannia is a journey through British street style through the years, covering subcultures from the 60s, 70s, 80s and now. The international hair education company were joined by British master barber, Dale Ted Watkins as they presented their latest looks to a packed audience.
The show was broken into three sections, taking the students through footage from each period to provide context before the stylists got creative. Looks covered included the mods and rockers, punks and New Romantics and music videos from each of the leading artists of the time helped to set the mood.
The final part of show saw a presentation of Mazella and Palmer's latest collection, Forgotten Circus, which is inspired by
a short film from artist and director Shelly Love. Inspired by the tortured circus performers as they perform for the ringmaster's last act, Forgotten Circus is about the sadness, loss and happiness that is captured in a dusty, smoke-filled circus ring.
The following day saw students undertake an up-close-and-personal workshop with the Mazella and Palmer team. Working in groups, students covered women's cutting, barbering and colouring techniques under the expert guidance of the team.
