The ghd Midnight Collection is twelve professional looks all inspired by the Autumn/Winter 2010 catwalk shows and created using the new ghd Gold Classic styler.
Here is how you can create a tightly curled faux bob using your stylers.

Step One: Take a triangular section from crown to temples, then two vertical partings from the crown down towards the ears. From the nape, take a 2cm-deep horizontal section then take a 2cm-square sub section. Place the styler horizontally at the root with your thumb underneath. Rotate 180 degrees towards the head, then slowly glide from roots to ends. | Step Two: Wrap the curl back towards the head and secure with a clip. Continue to complete the first section and then repeat the process working upwards in horizontal sections to complete to the crown. |
 | |
Step Three: Starting from the front left-hand section, take a diagonal 2cm-deep section above the ear. With your tail comb weave the section in half and clip away the top half. With the bottom half, place the styler diagonally in at the roots with your thumb on top, rotate 180 degrees and slowly glide out from roots to ends pushing the styler to the right. | Step Four: Repeat on the other half of the weave, this time pushing the styler to the left. Wrap the curls backwards towards the head and secure with a clip. Repeat the process to complete the first section and continue upwards to complete the left-hand side section. Now repeat steps three and four on the right-hand side section. |
 | |
Step Five: Working on the top triangular section from the crown, take a horizontal 2cm-deep section. Then take a 2cm-square sub section, place the styler in at the roots with your thumb on top, rotate 180 degrees then push the styler slowly away, over directing up and out to the side to give a square/wide shape to the final result. Repeat to complete the section. | Step Six: Working forwards, repeat the process but change the direction of the styler to rotate and glide out to the right. Repeat steps five and six to complete the preparation. |
 | |
Step Seven: Brush through the hair gently to release the curls then take a horizontal section at the nape, approximately 3cm deep, and clip away all remaining hair. Starting at the nape, take a square 3cm section, wrap the hair around your finger towards the head and secure with a pin. | Step Eight: Continue this to complete the first back section. |
 | |
Step Nine: Continue this process, working upwards towards the occipital bone, then start to connect the sides in halo sections around the head. Continue working using the same wrapping technique to complete. | Step Ten: Working through all the pinned curls now gently start to tease apart and open the curls with your fingers to create shape and definition. Continue teasing and opening the curls to your finished look. |
