We love this palette at D&J and its a very current tone in our 2015 Collection, Urban Camouflage. The key with this tone is to ensure that your underlying pigment is nothing stronger than a pale yellow. If using brands with a similiar numbering system to Wella, I'd incorporate 1-2g of a strong blue pigment (I.e. 2/8 Colour Touch) into a very diluted ash toners (I.e. 10/6 + 8/81). I'd either apply this to wet hair or add an entire extra part of 1.9% developer to ensure a slow and controlled tone, so a total of a (1:3 ratio). Alter your application method to suit varied porosity levels for an even graphite-slate finish or to create pocketed variants of tone. Development time will vary according to the hair condition.
