The Cut the Stigma charity haircut event saw some of the UK's finest hairdressers come together and raise £2,000 for HIV and AIDS charity, The Terrence Higgins Trust.
Top London stylist Denis Robinson arranged the day and invited hairdressing professionals to join him in offering cuts and blow-dries in exchange for donations.
More than 80 clients passed through the salon doors between 10 and 6, with 12 stylists lending their services for free.
Working in the salon were TV hairdresser Paul Haskell; Darren Webster from Webster Whiteman; Colin Smith from Fordham Soho; Tommy Taylor from Hare & Bone; Tim Scott-Wright from The Hair Surgery; Betty Bee from Enzorosario; freelance TV and film hairdresser Neil Geoffrey; Victoria Saunders from Drama Parlour; Dale Herne from RUSH and Martin Menzies from SAKS Manchester.
Jez Barnett from KeraStraight also popped in to offer his support at one of the busiest times of the day and - with borrowed equipment - jumped in to help with a few hair cuts!
The day was also supported by the Goldwell UK Technical Educators, Jo Thorne, India Flaherty and& Kelly Noyce.
Denis says: "At 9.30 I was just hoping that we could raise £500 but by 2pm we had already raised over £1,000. It was an incredible day, full of laughter and amazing people who came out to support this fantastic charity and the work that they do to educate young people about HIV and AIDS."
