Bosnia and Herzegovina's Stipe Filipovic seeks to look beyond colour with the UMOJA shoot, whose name comes from the Swahili word for Unity.
"My inspiration for the campaign UMOJA comes from my own desire to fight against racism," says Stipe. "UMOJA imeans togetherness or unity in Swahili.
"The Swahili language, also known as Kiswahili, is a Bantu language and the first language of the Swahili people. It is a native language of the African Great Lakes region and other parts of South East Africa, including Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
"Unfortunately, racism is deeply rooted in people. We live in a world where people like to judge other people before they meet them, before we get to know who they really are. Why do we think we are better than others? Why don’t we accept other people? Do not try to change others, change yourself! Change begins with oneself!"
