Badgley Mischka Autumn/Winter 2014: Get the Hair Look

The Badgley Mischka Autumn/Winter 2014 show saw Peter Gray create vibrant, feminine looks. The show: Badgley Mischka Autumn/Winter 2014 The hair team: Peter Gray for Moroccanoil The look: A strong side parting with a deep, low-parted sweeping fringe. The inspiration: Vibrant femininity The key product: Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse "We wanted to create a style that would contrast the rich, opulent mood of the clothes and appeared light, with a touchable transparency and movement," said Peter. "The strands have been designed to separate naturally as models walk, and hair, especially on the top of the head, is firm, luminous, and shiny." Get the look Apply a small amount of Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse to damp hair, concentrating on the root area and combing through. Make a deep diagonal side part, blow-dry the hair with a Moroccanoil XL-PRO Paddle Brush and make a loose, low swept fringe. Next create a loose wave through the mid-lengths, using a one-inch curling iron and leaving the ends out. Work in alternate directions to create a soft, natural texture. Take a small vertical section at the nape and make a small braid close to the head. Take a small of piece of hair from just above the front of both ears and tie with an elastic, securing at the base of the neck, and pinning it into the braid underneath. Apply a small amount of Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream on the ends then wind vertically with a curling iron (instead of a flat iron) to give the ends a polished and vibrant look. Finish with a spray of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Medium at the top of the head to keep those strands in place and mist the rest lightly with Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray for added shine.
