The Delpozo Autumn/Winter 2014 show saw Moroccanoil artistic director Antonio Corral Calero create futuristic rolled updos.
The show: Delpozo Autumn/Winter 2014
The hair team: Moroccanoil artistic director, Antonio Corral Calero
The look: An elegant rolled updo
The inspiration: The geometric post-cubist art of
Duilio Bernabé and the futuristic 1960s novel
Logan's Run
The key product: Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong
"The hair is beautiful, strong and dramatic," said Antonio. "The looks are smooth, sleek, and asymmetrical, highlighting pure, rounded geometrical form."
Get the look
Start by applying Moroccanoil Treatment (or Moroccanoil Treatment Light for models with light or fine hair) to condition and smooth.
Make a deep side parting on the left, brush hair to the side and spray with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong to make the hair sleek and prevent flyaways.
Continue with a right diagonal part from the crown to nape, brush and again spray the hair with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong.
Next tie a ponytail at the nape on the right. Make another parting mid-head, toward the ear on the left, creating another ponytail above the first. Bring this second ponytail down and tie it mid-tail with the one below at the nape.
Pull the original ponytail (on the right) horizontally over to the one on the left and tie it mid-tail at the nape.
Finally, divide this unified left-sided ponytail into two parts. Twist and loop the first part of the pony in and around below the top left pony to create a rounded, vertical tube-like effect and pin. Twist and loop the remaining part of the pony around the section mid-nape and pin.
Finish the look with Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray for a glamorous look.
