Young hairdressers from Scunthorpe salon Paul Gordon Hair styled a vintage collection around the streets of the town.
Paul Gordon stylists Ged McCleary, Lindsay Tong and Leanne Pearson organised the project , inspired by the success of colleague Hannah Gordon and her British Hairdressing Awards nomination for North Eastern Hairdresser of the year.
Joining forces with photographer Calvin Taylor Lee from One Click Studio and makeup artist Sophie Butcher, the hairdressers planned the eight looks right from the hair colour and styling to sourcing the clothing from stylist Tania McLeary.
Lindsay says: “The joy of hairdressing is that it’s such a creative career. It’s technical and requires an excellent level of skill, but there’s also so much you can do; hair is a very versatile canvas! We planned the photo shoot to practise our colouring and styling and to learn more how clothes, makeup and photography can all come together to create great shots.”
