There's just one more week of X Factor live shows to enjoy before a winner is announced, but the semi-finals on Saturday didn't disappoint in the style stakes.

Cheryl's two finalists Rebecca Ferguson and Cher Lloyd are definitely the most stylish contestants left on the show, and although their looks are totally different, I loved both their styles on Saturday's semi-final.

Rebecca wore her hair in a really high, very long ponytail - complete with an unusual chunky hair accessory. Paired with her edgy metallic dress, it's easy to see why she is so popular with the fashion crowd.

I love Cher's hair when it's styled big and curly, and although these waves were a little tamer than her huge hair last week, it's still a great look for the 17-year-old star. The glamorous curls contrast nicely against the tomboy-ish tuxedo for a really current, quirky look.

The One Direction boys looked perfectly groomed on Saturday, like a real professional boy band. Apparently Harry is the girls' favourite - even Peaches Geldof made a move on the 16-year-old! It's great to see his hair being left au natural - the more boys with curly hair the better!

Matt Cardle was back behind his guitar this week, and looked like a true rock star in the making. Like little Harry of One Direction, it's great to see that the stylists are working with his natural texture, and not straightening the life out of those waves, or giving him a buzz-cut.

And so it was farewell to Mary Byrne, the chicest checkout lady I've ever seen. I've loved seeing her glamorous transformation, and this elegant updo is typical of the sophisticated, refined looks we're used to seeing on her.
