We spoke to runway stylist Matthew Curtis for his tips on how to make this trend work in salon.  “Glitter roots as seen on Leona Lewis on the X Factor final are a great way to give your clients a sparkle over the festive season. They are really easy to achieve in salon - just mix eye shadows or glitter with a gel or resin and paint on the roots. It’s a really simple but impressive look.”
