Tim hartley delightfully diverse at salon live
Diversity has always been part of Tim Hartley's incredible appeal and his Salon Live show paid testament to this.
Male and female models, a spectrum of stunning colours and, of course, the geometric shapes and "little whimsies" that have become this giant of British hairdressing's trademarks.
There was no toning down the colour or cuts (or the outfits!) for the boys, with a trio of male models sporting on-trend short back and sides with texture on top, including a beautiful quiff.
Colours were sparkling blonde and gorgeous iridescent greys - definitely a key colour for spring/summer 2011.
For the women, colours ranges from apricot to glossy black, with blondes also prevalent always with, as Tim put it, "an element of surprise" - shimmering pinks and blues, for instance.
Tim was joined on stage by an array of cutting and colouring talent, including the charming Kiyo from Environment in London's Duke Street.
The result of their combined talents was a show that screamed a dramatic mix of inspirations, including the Teddy Boys of the 50s, David Bowie and French Punk.
Tim held the audience mezmorised for an hour-and a-half and received a standing ovation for his efforts.
A truly inspirational show.
