The world's sexiest silver-tops

Since we launched our forums for hairdressers, My HJi, a recurring theme has been grey hair - yes, it has taken us by surprise too! From when it arrives - as young as 13 it seems - to what, if anything you should do about it people seem keen to discuss their grey. Now we're not about to wade into any 'to dye or not to dye' debates but we couldn't resist the opportunity to give our take: the right grey hair on the right person looks pretty darn fine.To prove our point, we've created this list of the world's sexiest silver tops.

1. Taylor Hicks - It's not that we don't think he looks good with his au-naturel locks it's just that we're not sure that the former American Idol winner's profile is quite up to the standard of the other contenders.
2. Honor Blackman - Now we've got a sneaky suspicion that the she of Avengers fame might not feel she belongs in this category. But we say she's grey and looks great for it.
3. Philip Schofield - Remember the furore when the king of daytime television revealed that, shock horror, we was no longer the brunette we'd known but a silver fox? We're glad that dear Phil went back to his roots because it suits him so well.
4. Helen Mirren - Forget being a sexy older woman, 'The Queen' actress is as sexy as they come and her 'growing old gracefully, but I still got it' locks just add to the sex appeal.
5. George Clooney - Was it even a contest? George's salt and pepper looks are so distinctive that even keen follower of fashion David Beckham says he wants to follow in his footsteps.
