Sixties supermodel peggy moffitt still looks sensational

Sixties sensation Peggy Moffitt was spotted at a Golden Globes party this weekend, and despite being 71 years young, the glamorous former supermodel still looked absolutely sensational.

Peggy was famous in the swinging sixties for her signature modified bowl haircut, and it's fantastic to see her still rocking the 'five point' style now.

It's no surprise to learn that Vidal Sassoon was responsible for one of her most striking looks.

"Peggy Moffitt was a top model and muse for designer Rudi Gernreich," he explains. "I was working in London when I received a call asking me to fly to the US to do the hair for a shoot. I cut the hair and Peggy played up for the camera - and it worked brilliantly."

There can't be many women in their 70s who still look this daring - Peggy is an inspiration to us all.
