Looking for Spring wedding hair ideas? Look no further than the catwalks, where bobs, ballet buns and ponytails are all providing inspiration for brides this season.
The beauty experts at Hairtrade.com have been scouring the catwalks to find out what the big trends will be in bridal hair for this season.
Hair care expert Laura Meredith said: "Spring wedding hair can be tricky – you’re never sure what the weather will do. It could be pouring with rain or you could be tying the knot in blazing sunshine so you need to prepare for every eventuality.
"The styles we’ve seen on the catwalks are versatile and just perfect for that very special day. Whether you’re looking for timeless elegance or something a little more informal, there really is something for everyone."
Here are six picks for your Spring 2015 brides.
1. Ponytails
Whether it's a low ponytail, tucked under, volumised or adorned with intricate clips and head pieces, ponytails are the way to go for your spring wedding.
They're incredibly versatile and easy to maintain throughout the day.
Try the tucked under style for a gorgeous, informal look. Simply pull hair into a ponytail and cover the band using a small section of hair around the base, tucking the ends underneath. Roll the ends of the ponytail up and outwards and pin the ends to the base. Then gently tease your ponytail to create a fanned out effect. Finish off with hairspray to keep your do in place.
2. Ballet bun
Updos are perfect for a wedding – they’re timeless, elegant and always stylish. For a traditional look with a contemporary twist, try a ballerina bun at the nape of tje neck with a braid wrapped around. Don’t forget the hairspray to keep this look in place.
3. Soft curls
If brides want a more relaxed approach to their big day, how about tumbling soft curls? These frame the face beautifully and show off a great cut. Make sure hair is pampered with deep conditioning treatments in the run up to the big day so those curls are glossy and full of bounce.
4. Bobs
If you've got a shorter bobbed style, simply curling the ends under for a chic look on the big day is an on-trend option.
5. Low twist
The low twist is perfect for a wedding day – it’ll keep hair away from the face and neck, and if your bride is going for eye-catching hair accessories, this is the perfect style to show them off.
6. Bold accessories
Think big when it comes to hair accessories for your special day. Sparkly hairbands, statement clips, floral accessories and jeweled feathers will all be a popular choice for brides.
