Sharon peake draws the line with the fame team

Sharon Peake is the latest hairdressing icon to lend her wisdom to the 2014 FAME Team, taking the group on a creative journey from line drawing to finished look. The award-winning owner of Ethos Hairdressing in Manchester - and former FAME Team member - starts all of her hairdressing looks with a simple line drawing, which she then brings to life on a model. She shared some of her initial sketches with the group, before sharing how these translate to finished hairstyles ready to shoot. In the afternoon the team had the opportunity to discuss their upcoming trip to Australia , bouncing their creative ideas and seeking advice about their show work. Dafydd Rhys Thomas said: "It was great to have the input of someone who has first hand experience of creating big shows and someone who has also been a member of the FAME Team." Ellenora Dean commented: "Our day with Sharon was unlike any other. She worked so flexibly to tailor the day to suit our needs, which in this case was very much 'Australia' themed. Her ability to draw her visions intrigued us all and getting a crash course in 'how to sketch your ideas' was a skill I’ll most definitely be putting to use!"
