Ky wilson pops up at crate brewery

Ky Wilson recently combined his two loves with a pop-up salon space at East London's coolest indie beer-and-pizza spot; Crate Brewery. Located in the heart of Hackney Wick, Crate is one of London's most popular microbreweries. High vaulted ceilings are accompanied by bare light bulbs, benches made from recycled coffee sacks and a bar pulled together using railway sleepers. For his pop-up, Wonderful Hair Extensions ambassador Ky created a living-room style set-up in the corner of the brewery complete with sofas, cosy rugs and intimiate lighting. He says: "I've spent many nights socialising at Crate Brewey and have always been inspired by their hand-crafted, industrial-looking microbrewery. And, on this occasion, I decided I definitely wanted to mix business with pleasure. "All of my guests had the chance to chat and network on the Chesterfield sofa. I wanted to create a living room 'gathering' feel, with an end of the night vibe - which, as we all know, is where all the best ideas are thought up!"
