"This is one of my favourite images. It shows the haircut off perfectly, and the styling and composition of the whole image ensure it's an instant head-turner. I really enjoyed working on this look and seeing the concept come to life with the help of my team - Jacky, John and James."
Lewis Moore
"This monochrome image shot from the side really accentuates the shape of the head. The cloche-shaped cut is brought out on the edges to give a lengthening effect, and the smooth blow-dry, finished using serum, shows the beautiful shine achieved on the hair. The composition of the photograph, with the hand under the chin and the bold bangles and ring, make it an eye-catching shot that sits very well in our collection."
Jacky Crosby
Styling
"To complement the hair, I wanted to use garments with defined lines to act as a striking foil to the hair. The simplicity of the dress mirrors the lines of the hair beautifully."
Jared Green
Photographer
"As a photographer, it was easy to see the winning potential of this striking image straight away. Not only is it crisp, clear and classic, showing off the beautiful shape of the cut, but it's also extremely directional."
John Rawson
Make-up Artist
"The main emphasis of this image, from my point of view, is the eyes. We wanted to create a clean, graphic 1950s feel but with a modern twist. The black eyeliner is complemented by classically beautiful skin and nude lips."
