Ronaldo named footballer with the best hair

Cristiano Ronaldo may have been kicked out of the World Cup, but not all is lost for the Portuguese forward as he’s just been crowned footballer with the best hair. The soccer superstar's barnet scored him a fifth of the vote in a poll by online hair and beauty retailer Hairtrade.com. Respondents were given a list of ten international footballing stars that have played during this year’s World Cup and asked to rank them for their style. Over 20% of respondents rated Ronaldo as their mane man for his short and sharp style, which has recently included a curving line of clipper art - rumoured to be inspired by a young hospital patient whose scars Ronaldo duplicated. Close behind was Brazilian wonderkid Neymar Jr. The style icon received 18% for his shorn sides and sun-kissed colour. In third place was England's man of the moment Raheem Sterling. The 19-year-old midfielder was close behind with 16% of the vote for his hightop fade. Taking fourth place was Birmingham-born goal scorer Daniel Sturridge, with respondents agreeing that Liverpool's front man was in a different league when it came to his barnet. English goalie Joe Hart was ranked head and shoulders above the rest making it into the top half of the poll with 12% of the vote for his bleach-blonde barnet.
