Red velvet cupcake hair colour: get the look

Hair is sectioned across the back of the nape, crown and two smaller sections, one at each side. 2. To the nape section apply a mix of lightest brown, intense base, dark violet/red, pure violet and a 20 volume colour catalyst from roots to ends and isolate with foil. 3. A mix of lightest brown, intense base, dark violet/red and 10 volume colour catalyst is applied from roots to ends and isolated with foil. 4. To the crown section apply a mix of dark blonde, intense base, pure red, dark violet/red and 10 volume colour catalyst at the roots, and a mix of dark blonde, intense base, pure red, dark violet/red and 20 volume colour catalyst is applied from midlengths to ends. 5. Hair is then processed, rinsed, shampooed and a conditioning treatment applied. 6. Apply a styling prep product to towel-dried hair, then working with 1-1.5" triangular sections finish hair with curling irons. Then separate curls using fingers and finish with hairspray.
