Red velvet cupcake hair colour: get the look

Who wouldn't want to indulge in red velvet cupcake hair colour? Rich, smooth and utterly gorgeous, this luxurious shade is the perfect red update for a new season.
Styled in tumbling bohemian curls, the look spells pure romance and is guaranteed to turn heads - make sure you send your clients out carrying a business card, because they're guaranteed to be stopped with this striking shade!

Get the Look
1. Hair is sectioned across the back of the nape, crown and two smaller sections, one at each side.
2. To the nape section apply a mix of lightest brown, intense base, dark violet/red, pure violet and a 20 volume colour catalyst from roots to ends and isolate with foil.
3. A mix of lightest brown, intense base, dark violet/red and 10 volume colour catalyst is applied from roots to ends and isolated with foil.
4. To the crown section apply a mix of dark blonde, intense base, pure red, dark violet/red and 10 volume colour catalyst at the roots, and a mix of dark blonde, intense base, pure red, dark violet/red and 20 volume colour catalyst is applied from midlengths to ends.
5. Hair is then processed, rinsed, shampooed and a conditioning treatment applied.
6. Apply a styling prep product to towel-dried hair, then working with 1-1.5" triangular sections finish hair with curling irons. Then separate curls using fingers and finish with hairspray.
