Pivot Point are collaborating with the live events Pints & Ponytails, teaching Dad’s how to do their daughter’s hair, all while enjoying a drink and chatting about their fatherhood issues.
Dad’s Matthew Carter and Lawrence Price have a successful podcast, The Secret Life of Dads, and noticed a need for live events to bring other dads together in a safe space to talk openly about parenthood. All with the ultimate goal to support dads to spend more quality time with their daughters.

Their Pints & Ponytails events were a huge hit, resonating with fellow fathers across the country and the world. With viral reels, press coverage and even trips to 10 Downing Street to get their message out there.
Reaching out to Pivot Point back in March, the duo needed to scale up their events and needed more mannequins that they could reuse at their events.
Jan Laan, Vice President, International Business Development for Pivot Point commented: “The project is so inspiring, and we could see the guys needed mannequins that would be as realistic as possible for the dad’s to practice on. Supplying different hair types and ethnicities on real human hair also gives the guests the best practical experience to take home and create ponytails and plaits on their daughters.”
Matthew and Lawrence, Pints and Ponytails, added: “We want the Dads to have the most realistic experience during our events, so that they go home with more confidence. Pivot Point have been instrumental in enabling us to deliver this!”
