On Trend: The Bixie

Published 16th Jan 2024 by Josie Jackson

Who doesn’t love a Bixie? It’s that sweet spot between bob and pixie that offers clients a flattering and fresh style update. It’s all in the execution so here Denman Ambassador Brandon Messinger shares his top tips on cutting and styling the perfect Bixie.

“Creating the perfect Bixie is about finding that perfect length, not only in external lines but also in internal lines. Team that with a choppy playful texture through the lengths while paying close attention to your expanded shape and not over layering. When it comes to styling, wrap dry with a vent that reduces moisture quickly. Build root volume through the crown with a small radial and flatten the nape for that classic Bixie shape, before adding a little wax for texture.”

The Bixie is Denman’s favourite trend right now and here are the tools you'll need to create it...
