Nick irwin and the tigi team head up hot looks in miami with mara hoffman

Nick Irwin and the TIGI US Session Team headed up four shows backstage at Miami Swimwear 2014, creating high-end hair for the best of beachwear fashion. One of the most inspiring looks of the five-day event was at Mara Hoffman, where India served as the inspiration for a series of printed pieces in ultra-feminine shapes. To complement the collection, Nick and the team created fishtail plaits adorned with beaded and tassled accessories - inspired by the bridle decorations found on camels. To get the look, hair was ironed flat and sprayed with TIGI Catwalk Your Highness Weightless Shine Spray. A middle parting was then created from the forehead to the crown point and secured in a tight ponytail. A false hairpiece was braided into a tight fishtail and then added to the ponytail, using Catwalk Sleek Mystique Look Lock Hairspray to add control.
