Affinage launches new artistic team, colour rebels, for 2017 Affinage has launched its new artistic team, Colour Rebels. Chosen after an intense competition, the team will now begin their two-year program as the first ever Affinage Artistic Team. The new Colour Rebel team members are: -Darren Eaton, Solarium Point; Paul Thomas Farr, Destin Hair and Beauty; Iain Bruce-Low, Brucelow Hair; Sheree Thompson, Siren; Zoe Ball, Bliss Hair Therapy; Charles Cleavely, Zoology; Let Lew, One Two Six Hair Studio. Phase one of the competition required entrants to send in a covering letter detailing why they would make a good Affinage Colour Rebel, a mood board and images of their work along with a bio of themselves. The response was vast and saw hundreds of entries from across UK and Ireland, with only 15 finalists chosen and invited to the Affinage Academy in Romsey for the finalist day on the 7 May. On the day itself, the finalists were put through their paces in front of a panel of judges from the Affinage team including global ambassador, Tracey Devine-Smith. Tracey said: ‘‘All the finalists did an amazing job and the final decision was extremely hard, if only we could have chosen them all! This is such an amazing opportunity for the team and they have a very exciting two-year journey ahead of them, I feel truly honoured to be a part of it.’’
