New social media platform for stylists launches

Hairbyus.com is a new free social media platform, designed to put clients in touch with their ideal stylists.
Featuring an interactive directory and hairboards, the service offers stylists the chance to upload and manage their own images on personal portfolios, showcasing their cutting and colouring skills.
Hairbyus.com then pairs an individual stylist to a potential client's hairboard, based on the user's specific style preferences, face shape, hair type and so on.
To mark the launch, the site is offering the chance to win £1,000 of salon equipment to any hairstylist who has created a portfolio with five images.
