Lupita nyong'o debuts new purple do at met gala 2014

  Lupita Nyong'o might have made headlines with her flapper-inspired Prada gown, but it was her new purple 'do that got us talking. Purple and green should never be seen? We're not convinced - although perhaps Lupita is the only person on the planet that could carry it off. I'm not entirely sold on the matching eyeliner, but if there's any event to fully go all out with your styling, this is the one! In terms of styling, this sculptural shape is something we've seen on Lupita before but remains a cute and fun look. It would have been really obvious to stick on a bob wig and go all out with the flapper feel of the dress, so double thumbs up for doing something a bit more modern. A little matching flapper headband completes the look.
