L'oreal id artists tackle new season trends L'Oreal ID Artists Tackle New Season Trends L'Oreal ID Artists and Colour ID Artists from across the UK and Republic of Ireland packed into the L’Oréal Professionnel Academy in London recently to absorb the latest catwalk trends and backstage tips from mentors Anna Chapman, Nathan Walker, Andrew Mulvenna, Kathryn Dartnell and Simon Shaw. Having made it through X Factor style auditions to earn their place in the team, this was the new group's chance to make friends and immerse themselves in creativity. Th first day saw mentors share their interpretations of hair trends for Autumn/Winter 2014, each bringing their own unique perspective and area of expertise. Anna and Kathryn shared their session work secrets while Andrew executed stunning haircuts and Nathan identified the season’s must-have colours. On day two the ID Artists were divided into teams where they rotated around the workshops most relevant to their ID journey. It was a day of action with hands-on practising and the creation of looks that had been shared by the mentors on the previous day. All of the students also undertook Simon Shaw’s communication presentation workshop to ensure that they're ready and raring to go for the Catwalk Showcase tour in Autumn, when they will present their own takes on the trends.
