London fashion week spring/summer 2013: temperley

Malcolm Edwards created elegant updos for the Temperley Spring/Summer 2013 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Temperley
Stylist: Malcolm Edwards for L'Oréal Professionnel
Inspiration: A return to elegance.
The look: A gritty rope plait with hair waved around the face.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with Texture Tonic, applied at the roots onto dry hair.
The hair was then split into two sections. The first was pulled into a high ponytail on a diagonal angle and the front section tonged and pin-curled then left to set.
The ponytail was then formed into a top knot and secured in place with Fix Design. The pin curls were then released and brushed out to create thick messy waves.
Finally the hair was rolled back and wrapped around the top knot, spraying Air Fix onto a soft bristle brush and using it to bring back some control into the look.
