Malcolm Edwards created glamorous, sexy hair for the Issa Spring/Summer 2013 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Issa
Stylist: Malcolm Edwards for L'Oréal Professionnel
Inspiration: Couture, old-style hairdressing. "The typical Issa girl," said Malcolm. "The hair is quite couture with pieces placed quite organically so no models are exactly the same. A lot of work went into this look; lots of prep, lots of hair pieces and lots of patience."
The look: Organic, elegant updos topped off with fresh orchids.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with Tecni Art Volume Lift and Texture Tonic to add volume and movement, then roughly blow-dried.
Hair was pulled back into a neat, high ponytail and sectioned into two. Then, section-by-section, hair was teased then smoothed out and curled with thick barrel tongs. Hair was then gathered in invisible hairnets while using Tecni Art Air Fix Anti Frizz to add shine and eliminate any flyaways.
Hair was then twisted and built up organically to create the shape and pinned in place."
Key products: L'Oréal Professionnel Playball Texture Tonic, Tecni Art Volume Lif and Tecni Art Fix Anti Frizz
