Luke Hersheson created prim and proper looks for the Michael van der Ham Spring/Summer 2013 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Michael van der Ham
Stylist: Luke Hersheson for L'Oréal Professionnel
Inspiration: Prim, proper and perfect. "This girl is the kind of girl that religiously gets her hair cut every six weeks, she never has a split end and her hair always look immaculate," said Luke.
"She's the kind of girl that brushes her hair before bedtime. Her hair is always perfectly blow-dried and freshly washed - she's a very prim and proper schoolgirl."
The look: A rich, glossy blow-dry.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with Tecni Art Liss Control and Mythic Oil to smooth, then blow-dried with a large round brush using Tecni Art Gloss Control to make the hair really sleek and smooth.
Some models had their hair styled with Velcro rollers through the ends for a bevelled end, otherwise it was just perfectly blow-dried with a round brush.
None of the models had partings; hair was just pulled straight back and secured with a white leather hair band created by Michael.
Finally, Infinium hairspray was added to hold the hair in place and eliminate any stray hair.
Key products: L'Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil, Infinium Hairspray, Tecni Art Gloss Control, Tecni Art Liss Control
