James Pecis created textured ponytails for the Simone Rocha Spring/Summer 2013 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Simone Rocha
Stylist: James Pecis for Bumble and bumble
Inspiration: Ed Templeton photographs of teenagers - "specifically teenagers making out," James added. "It's young and fun, but a bit sick."
The look: A choppy fringe and heavily textured ponytail. "We wanted it to feel teenage and youthful," James said. "There are two things you can do to hair that automatically make it feel young; add a fringe and styled hair in a ponytail."
Get the look: Hair was prepped Bumble and bumble Does it All and Spray de Mode and blow-dried in to add texture and guts.
Lengths were then styled in a ponytail and section-by-section were coated with Does it All and Spray de Mode, backcombed and flat-ironed. The process was repeated over and over again to craete a matted, thick texture to the hair.
Clip-in choppy fringes were added to every girl - cut from a full wig to add fullness.
Key products: Bumble and bumble Spray de Mode, Does it All and Thickening Spray
