London fashion week spring/summer 2013: jeffrey michael

Oscar Alexander Lundberg created slicked-back looks for the Jeffrey Michael Spring/Summer 2013 show at London Fashion Week.

The inspiration: "The whole process started with me imagining a beautiful woman with poise, emerging from the water with her hair being pushed back by the sea revealing her face. I decided that the hair in the show would be slicked back, mimicking the look of the water. This style has a strong look and shows off all the beauty of the face. I also wanted to give the hair a flirty, softer side with femininity and movement, so I gave the length of the hair a smooth straight blow-dry, allow the hair to move naturally as the model walks."

The look: Slicked-back hair, with contrasting smooth lengths.

Get the look: Hair was prepped with Structure Foundation Spray then blow-dried smoothly for a straight finish with hair styled away and off the face. 

A 50:50 mixture of Structure Control Hard Hold Gel and Structure Glue Extremet Crème was then used to slick back the hair in sections all the way to the hairline at the front. 

Hair was then combed through and left to set.
