London fashion week spring/summer 2013: jasper garvida

Alessio Matta created dual texture for the Jasper Garvida Spring/Summer 2013 show at London Fashion Week.

The inspiration: Geometry and structure.

The look: Dual texture - slicked-back sides with backcombed texture on top.

Get the look: The top area was sectioned off from temple to crown, resulting in a triangular shape. 

The section underneath was then taken from the front to below the crown creating two triangular shapes which were secured with pins and Sassoon Professional Spray Shine. 

The top area was then backcombed and dressed off the face, maintaining volume at the crown and temples to create a square shape effect. 

The majority of hair was left to hang loose down the back and ironed with Sassoon Professional Diamond Polish and Sassoon Professional Spray Shine to give a smooth, photographic glass effect.
