Adam Reed created strong, powerful hair for the Felder Felder Spring/Summer 2013 show at London Fashion Week.

Show: Felder Felder

Stylist: Adam Reed for Sebastian Professional, with Dom Capel and the Sebastian Cult Team.

Inspiration: The 1970s and Cher - a blanket of hair. Sebastian launched in the 1970s when they invented the crimping iron; this look was inspired both by the era and by the idea of 'pressing' hair and treating it as a fabric.

The look: A centre-parted sheet of hair, with a parting above the ear. Hair was straight and glossy, but with movement through the ends. Products were kept to a minimum - "but they work hard," Adam explained.

The glossy, shiny finish was further enhanced by the new Trilliant shine products from Sebastian Professional.

Get the look: Prep hair with Trilliant, blow-dry in and add a centre parting.

Taking small sections, run irons though to press the hair from the root to the end in one downward motion; do not comb hair after pressing.

Part the hair from the crown to behind the ear and clip in place. Warm Shine Crafter wax between the hands and softly run over the hair.

Use a natural bristle brush - Adam used a bone toothbrush with natural bristles as it deposits product evenly, prevents static and leaves no combmarks.

Remove the clips from the hair and finish with hairspray.

Key products: Sebastian Professional Trilliant, Zero Gravity, Re-Shaper and Shine Crafter.
