London fashion week spring/summer 2013: erdem

Marc Trinder created a clean, chic bun for the Erdem Spring/Summer 2013 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Erdem
Stylist: Marc Trinder and the Charles Worthington team
The inspiration: "The whimsical, romantic Erdem girl of last season has evolved into a woman," says Marc. "She's tougher and more androgynous."
The look: Dubbed the 'Glazed Bun', it's a high-shine chic, boyish bun.
Get the look: Starting with freshly-washed wet hair, apply oil throughout, massaging through with fingertips
With a pintail comb, draw a deep parting from the highest point of the eyebrow straight back to the crown.
Using a hairdryer and flat brush, smooth the hair so it is sleek around the head.
Once dry, sweep hair into a low ponytail and secure centrally at the nape of the neck with an elastic to get as much tension as possible.
Take a wand or tong and divide the pony up into three or four sections to create a bend (all in the same direction) throughout the mid lengths and ends.
Liberally spritz shine spray over the ends of the ponytail and brush through.
Coat hands in more shine spray and wrap hair in an anti-clockwise motion to build bun shape and secure discretely with hair grips along the underneath.
Finish the look by applying shine spray to a blusher brush and then over the hair to glaze the surface, control flyaways and enhance shine.
