Off-duty supermodel style can be as inspiring as their catwalk looks; from street style cool to bombshell glamour.

With the world's leading designers on speed-dial and hair and beauty experts clamouring to make them look their best even when they're not on the catwalk, it's no wonder that supermodels are the stars of street style.

Whether off-duty in Milan, Paris, New York and London or jetting from campaign shoot to editorial work on the world's leading glossies, supermodels are household names and inspire clients with an eye for style.

Here are some of the catwalk queens we love - and the hairstyles that make them smoulder;

Lara Stone
"Lara's hair is simple but still sophisticated, and the shape
enhances her natural beauty. Colour-wise she's got quite a few different tones running through it and there is a noticeable difference between the root area and the ends. She could go for a global blonde colour to even it out, then add some slices of caramel and cream tones to add definition. She can carry a light blonde, it works well with her skin tone."

Natasha Poly
"This is an edgy, almost rock-chick look, but it's still feminine as the soft, sweeping fringe with layering around the front keeps the look sexy and effortless. The fishtail plait and dark eyes add fun to the look, ensuring it's trendy but not twee. Soft, subtle blondes will always be on-trend - it's a look that is glamorous and girly, adding softness and opulence to any style."

Joan Smalls
"Known for her pout and strong bone structure, Joan's hair looks amazing swept away from her face. I like the way it is styled back from the hairline but left to fall with a natural shine at the back - it is all about enhancing her natural beauty and keeping her hair looking as healthy as possible."
Nick Bland, Haringtons, London

Dree Hemingway
"I just love Dree's boho  blonde look. She always looks so effortlessly chic, but on this occasion it's a more 1940s' starlet style. The great thing about Dree is that her look is so versatile. She'd look great with a few brunette tones mixed into her blonde to create a more ashy look. She's lucky enough to be able to carry off golden or caramel tones."
