London fashion week autumn/winter 2013: thomas tait thomas-tait-hair-autumn-winter-2013.jpg James Pecis created jellyfish static for the Thomas Tait Autumn/Winter 2013 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Thomas Tait
Stylist: James Pecis for Bumble and bumble
The inspiration: Sci-fi meets jellyfish! Excessive amounts of static to mimic the movement of a jellyfish, flowing out behind models as they walked out on the dark runway.
The look: Static buns full of flyaways.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with Bumble and bumble Tonic Shampoo to get hair squeaky clean.Thickening Hairspray and Holding Spray were then dried into the hair roughly, working against the hair shaft to raise the cuticle and create static.
Hair was then sectioned and crimped in multiple directions, with crimpers run up and down the shaft to maximise static.
Hair was then pulled back into a ponytail at the nape and wrapped into a knot, pinning place.
Key products: Bumble and bumble Tonic Shampoo, Thickening Hairspray, Holding Spray
The gossip: Balloons were used backstage to add more static to styles.
