London fashion week autumn/winter 2013: temperley

Malcolm Edwards created Hitchcock heroines for the Temperley Autumn/Winter 2013 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Temperley
Stylist: Malcolm Edwards for L'Oréal Professionnel
The inspiration: The glamour and elegance of Hitchcock heroines and femmes fatales but with a hard, contemporary edge. Using classic hairdressing techniques but in a modern way.
The look: A twisting updo with hard, glossy texture.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with L'Oréal Professionnel Tecni.Art Fix Design and blow-dried away from the face to banish flyaways and keep hair taut, tight and shiny.
Hair was then sectioned in three horizontally, with the lower section and middle section secured in pointrails.
More Fix Design was then added and brushed in to the top section, blow-drying away from the face to set. This top section was then secured in the top ponytail.
The two ponytails were then twisted around each other in circles to create an elaborate, elongated bun.
Key product: L'Oréal Professionnel Tecni.Art Fix Design and Crystal Gloss
