London fashion week autumn/winter 2013: nasir mazhar

Alex Brownsell created Motown beehives for the Nasir Mazhar Autumn/Winter 2013 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Nasir Mazhar
Stylist: Alex Brownsell for Bumble and bumble
The inspiration: 1960s Motown girls
The look: There were several different looks for the show - two giant beehives, two giant Hollywood sets and a super-high, long braid as well as sleek styles for underneath the designer's hair-shaped hats.
Get the look: Wigs were used to create all the looks, purchased from Paks in Dalston. Spray de Mode and a lot of Gellac were used to set the hair and create volume and hold.
Wigs were bulked up with three sets of extensions to create serious volume. It's "just the right side of too much," said Alex.
Key product: Bumble and bumble Spray de Mode and Gellac.
The gossip: Rapper Shystie was one of the models in the presentation, which also featured seven dancers for a modern take on Motown.
