London fashion week autumn/winter 2013: michael van der ham Michael Van Der Ham Autumn/Winter 2013-14 hair by Luke Hersheson for L'Oreal ProfessionnelLuke Hersheson created spooky half-fringes for the Michael van der Ham Autumn/Winter 2013 show at London Fashion Week.

Show: Michael van der Ham

Stylist: Luke Hersheson for L'Oréal Professionnel

The inspiration: Nineties, deliberately ugly, Wednesday Adams hair.

The collection is all about a feminine, beautiful woman so the hair had to be a bit edgy to contrast - it's "slightly hard to look at," said Luke.

The look: Straight hair with a clip-in short fringe in a deliberately unmatching shade.

Get the look: Hair was blow-dried straight using Tecni.Art Pli to pull it close to the head, in a hard flat silhouette with a side-parting.

A fringe in a deliberately mismatched shade, slightly darker than the natural hair, was then attached.

Fresh Dust was then added through the very ends to create a slightly matted effect, scrunched through by hand.

Key product: label.m Relaxing Balm and Leave-in Conditioner

The gossip: Model Kristen McMenamy didn't just serve as inspiration for the show with her super-long, wavy locks - she also modelled for the show.
