Mark Hampton created boyish bobs for the Maarten van der Horst Autumn/Winter 2013 show at London Fashion Week.

Show: Maarten van der Horst

Stylist: Mark Hampton for TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe

The inspiration: Lizzie Mercier Descloux's boyish bob, 70s punk and 80s disco.

The look: Boyish bobs

Get the look: Hair was prepped with mousse and dried in, with more mousse added to dry hair to create a really matte finish.

Hair was then backcombed all over and sprayed with texturiser to create a dishevelled look.

All of the hair was then pulled over to one side, with a section of hair at the nape braided upwards to create a solid base.

Hair was then caught in a clear elastic at the very end and rolled under, pinning to the plaited base to create a faux-bob.

Sections were loosened from around the face and spray with texturiser and hairspray to create a matte finish with dishevelled lengths.
