Indira Schauwecker created samurai knots for the Jean-Pierre Braganza Autumn/Winter 2013 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Jean-Pierre Braganza
Stylist: HJ's Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year, Indira Schauwecker
The inspiration: A rock chick who has taken a year out in Japan and learnt samurai skills.
The look: From the front, a clean strong centre parting with straight and natural hair full of movement.
A triangular section was caught in a samurai style knot at the top of the head.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with label.m Volume Mousse and smoothly blow-dried with a paddle brush achieve a sleek, straight finish with a clean centre parting added using a tail comb.
Once dry, a triangular section was taken across the crown and secured into a high ponytail.

Hair was held up and covered in hairspray before being pressed with irons to fuse and create a slightly solid texture that was able to be shaped.
Hair was then wrapped under into a loop and tied again. The loop was then rolled underneath with the ends wound through into what Indira described as an 'origami bun' and secured in place with pins.
The shape was perfected with round tongs, which were used in the interior to create a smooth circle.
Hair was finished with shine spray and more hairspray.
Key products: Label,m Volume Mousse, Hairspray, Shine Spray
The gossip: Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck looked impossibly glamm, styling models in her Giles dress before heading to a British Fashion Council reception at 10 Downing Street.
