London fashion week autumn/winter 2013: antipodium

Alex Brownsell created ladylike chignons for the Antipodium Autumn/Winter 2013 show at London Fashion Week.

The inspiration: Modern good-time girl

The look: Shabby chignons

Get the look: Hair was prepped with Bumble and bumble Thickening Hairspray and Prep, then layered with Surf Spray and dried using the fingers to encourage volume and texture.

A top section was separated out, with the bottom section folded and styled into a vertical roll pinned in place.

Hair Powder was added on the front and sides of the hair, using a soft brush to loosen out texture and flyaways. Hair was finished with Spray de Mode.
