Laura whitmore makes up new colouring technique

Festival beauty can be a tricky thing, particularly for celebrities who are used to having an army of hair and beauty pros catering to their every whim and ensuring not a hair is out of place. It's no surprise then, that when left to their own devices, things get a little... shall we say... creative. We've all heard of hair chalking, but how about hair lipsticking? That's the situation TV presenter Laura Whitmore found herself in backstage at Coachella, when she turned to her red lipstick to give herself a colour update. Sharing her new look on Instagram, Laura said:

Not bad at all, although I'm not sure I'd want to use my lipstick on my face after smearing it through my hair quite so liberally. Wonder what other colours she's got in her makeup bag? Bit of pink in there would be nice - or maybe she could hunt down Lorde backstage and get some nice dark hues through there? [Picture: @TheWhitmore]
