Kim kardashian rocks cornrows for new music career

Socialite Kim Kardashian surprised her fans last year with the revelation that she was planning to embark on a music career; but she shocked her 5,744,505 Twitter followers even further last week with her dramatic new hairstyle.
Kim, who is usually seen with a big, bouncy blow-dry, has switched her extensions for a tougher look - intricately braided cornrows.
The new look isn't a total image overhaul for Kim though; the braids are purely for her upcoming music video.
Although Kim was papped out and about with natural braids, in the video for her new single Turn It Up, the cornrows feature glittering glass beads, for a Cleopatra-inspired look.
