Kent Brushes marked their 240th anniversary at Salon International, with a stand celebrating their two-century heritage.
Founded in 1777, Kent Brushes have been involved in some of history's most memorable events – including supplying brushes to the British army throughout the Napoleonic wars and surviving 17 bomb hits during World War II. The brand was launched by William Kent, who was just 24 at the time. In an era with no electricity, all brushes were handmade and deliveries with made on horseback.
More recently, the brand were presented the Queen's Award for Enterprise; the UK's highest accolade for international business success. The award was proudly on display on their stand, alongside their prestigious Royal Warrant – the only brush manufacturer to have held the title for nine consecutive reigns.
The brand produces more than 250 brushes, a broad selection of which were on offer at the stand, with something for everyone – from moustache brushes and the new Monster beard brush to every variety of styling, radial, ceramic, vent and paddle brush a professional salon stylist needs in their kit!
