Creative Color Award
For skilled, visionary professionals who want to demonstrate their mastery of hair colour with innovative color techniques and creative expression.
Artistic Vision Award
Dedicated to visionary colourists who push the boundaries of hair artistry with avant-garde creativity and experimental concepts.
In-Salon Transformation
For real salon transformations which bring real-life salon magic to the spolight.
How Do the JOICO Color Talent Awards Work?
The JOICO Color Talent Awards 2027 winners will receive prestigious industry recognition, exclusive opportunities and exciting prizes. Each category will have an overall winner, with second and third places. Prizes include guest apperances at JOICO events, JOICO Professional product bundles, as well as exclusive PR and social media coverage.
In their first year, the JOICO Color Talent Awards received more than 200 entries from across EMEA, with each entry demonstrating the passion that hairdressers have for creating outstanding colour palattes and fusing them with creative cutting and styling.
The Color Talent Awards judges are a group of the most experienced industry creatives who bring a wealth of experience. These include:

Who Won the JOICO Color Talent Awards 2025?
Monika Woźniak, from Hair Colorist Studio in Poland, was the overall winner of the first JOICO Color Talent Awards.
As part of her prize, Monika received her own professional photoshoot with the JOICO European Creative Team, exclusive social media coverage, and €2.500 to help bring her hair creativity to life.
Commenting on her JOICO Color Talent win, Monika said it was the moment she stopped thinking of her work “simply as a job”. Monika added: “I began to understand that it is something much more - a passion that I want to develop every single day. It was the fulfilment of my professional dream and confirmation that I am exactly where I’m meant to be.”
Bruno Marc Giamattei, JOICO EMEA Creative Director, said “I’m looking forward to seeing stylists experiment with unique color combinations and techniques in their entries. Creative color was at the forefront of each entry in the JOICO Color Talent Awards 2025 and stylists let their passion for color come through! I can’t wait to see what stylists create this year. When Do Entries for the JOICO Color Talent Awards 2027 Open?
Entries for the JOICO Color Talent Awards 2027 open on 1 October, 2026 and close on 31 March, 2027. Judging will take place in April 2027.
When Are the JOICO Color Talent Awards 2027 Winners Announced?
Winners will be announced via Instagram in April 2027.
