The JOICO Color Talent Awards recognise and reward exceptional colour talent in the hairdressing industry – pushing creativity, showcasing artistry, and celebrating the power of hair colour.
When entering the JOICO Color Talent Awards, stylists had the choice of three exciting categories to choose from: Transformation Snapshot, Young Creative Talent, and Creative Talent. From the three categories, an overall winner of the JOICO Color Talent Awards was selected.
JOICO EMEA are delighted to announce Monika Woźniak from Hair Colorist Studio in Poland is the total ‘Winner’ of the JOICO Color Talent Awards. Monika’s award-winning look blends sophistication with individuality. The winning look infused a vibrant colour palette with long, flowing waves to create hair that embodies confidence, personality, and energy. “Avant-Garde can be elegant and sensual. I drew inspiration from contemporary art and my own artistic interpretation of the model’s personality to capture her energy in the hair,” shared Monika.

As part of her prize, Monika will receive her own professional photoshoot with the JOICO European Creative Team, alongside media coverage in industry trade press and exclusive social media coverage. To help bring her hair creativity to life, Monika has also won €2.500.
Alysha O’Keefe from Marc Antoni in the United Kingdom was announced as the JOICO Color Talent Awards ‘Runner-Up’, having originally entered the ‘Young Creative Talent’. Inspired by the age of AI, Alysha brought her vision to life through glowing purples, blue and green tones, and dramatic dark contrasts, showcasing a look that feels straight out of the future. Alysha said: “Drawing inspiration from the new age of technology and AI, I couldn’t help but be drawn to an array of neon colours set against bold, dark backgrounds.”

Charlotte Lauren Giamttei from Marc Antoni in the United Kingdom was announced as the winner of the ‘Transformation Snapshot’ category. Charlotte’s stunning concept ‘Fiery Futurism in Red’ took inspiration from the vibrant JOICO 50th Anniversary Collection, blending fiery reds, magenta and indigos shades to create a look that redefines bold, futuristic colour. Charlotte said: “Taking my inspiration from JOICO’s 50th anniversary collection, I wanted to create a look the reflected elements of both the past and the present, infusing futuristic creative colour with a contemporary cut.”
