Why are you with Wella?
I started my colour journey with Wella when I was 19 years old. I’ve learned about their products and done lots of courses in their academy, so that made me passionate about the brand.
What’s your go-to Wella product for achieving stunning hair transformations?
I’m a big fan of Koleston Perfect, Color Touch and of course Magma. They all give you shine and an amazing colour result. Pairing all of these products with Shinefinity will help you achieve beautiful, shiny hair.
How does Wella education contribute to your personal and team development?
Wella has always been there for me, right from the early stages of my career. Their courses are detailed which is great for learning new skills and stepping out of your comfort zone. I’m an educator for the HARI’s Academy, so being in the Wella studio to learn helps me to teach the new colour trainees new ways of seeing colour and approach hair. The opportunity to work on Colour Blocking looks in the studio with the Wella Professional team was huge for me. We had a day with models and we created looks using all the different colour ranges.
What’s the best-kept secret in Wella’s portfolio that everyone should know about?
Not everyone knows that this product exists, as some of us colourists only concentrate on the colour ranges but I think one of their best products is the ColorMotion+ Pre-Colour Treatment. It’s a product that I believe every hair colourist should use and have in their trolley.
It helps balance the porosity of the hair before colouring, so you will never get patchy results when toning damaged hair. If you pair it with the ColorMotion+ Aftercare Shampoo and Mask, it will ensure strength and shine to the hair. Whilst on the topic of colouring, I would say Wella Perfecton is one of my favourites. It’s used
to create amazing colours and toners that last only a few washes, and is the best for pre- pigmentation of the hair in no time at all.
In three words, how would you describe Wella’s impact on the hair industry?
Successful, innovative and creative. Wella has always been one of the most present brands in the hair industry. Founded in 1880, it has been giving great results for hundreds of years.
How do you use the Colour Blocking technique behind the chair?
For me, the best Colour Blocking technique is changing a client’s look with just a panel of a different colour. I have always loved Colour Blocking fringes and panels through the front and back hairline. I love a peek-a-boo strand, a strong money piece and of course, an ombré blocking, which consists of a straight line of colour all over the ends of the hair.

Why are you with Wella?
Wella Professionals is a brand you can trust. You can find good products for blondes, rich brunettes and copper tones. I also love that there’s lots of options for clients who haven’t started colouring their hair yet, but are curious.
What’s your go-to Wella product for achieving stunning hair transformations?
At the moment I’m obsessed with Shinefinity – it gives every head of hair a dreamy finish. It deposits colour while giving a moisturising, glossy sheen. You can’t go wrong with it.
How does Wella education contribute to your personal and team development?
The hairdressing industry is always changing, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and shades is key. The trend of the moment is block colour and 90’s highlights. It's great to revisit trends from the past with a twist of modernity.
What’s the best-kept secret in Wella’s portfolio that everyone should know about?
COLOR FRESH MASKS are without a doubt my go-to for clients to keep their 'salon look' going at home. There are so many shade possibilities and it's a no-mess, easy way to refresh colour.
In three words, how would you describe Wella’s impact on the hair industry?
Innovative, sustainable and iconic.
How do you use the Colour Blocking technique?
With the Colour Blocking trend you can bring a little fun back to the salon. Colour Blocking is usually a two-tone look, but you could level-up your colour blocks by pulling in three, four or even five hues. It can also be translated for clients who don’t want to come out of their comfort zone too much by adding a hidden panel, a peek-a-boo pastel pop or by enhancing a face frame. Everything is possible!
